STORE PURCHASES

  1. ALL STORE PURCHASE ARE FINAL. NO CANCELLATION, RETURNS OR EXCHANGES”. We accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Personal cheques are NOT accepted.

 

   2. All garments sold ‘off the rail’ are sold as seen; therefore it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that they are happy with the goods at the time of purchase. Regency Brides Limited will not accept responsibility for the condition of garments once they have left the premises.

 

 

DESIGN & MADE GARMENTS

  1. Regency Bride Limited offers a design and made service which is independent of the shop. This service is provided by our recommended seamstresses. All consultations, fittings, and alterations may be carried out elsewhere; customers are not obliged to use the services provided by our recommended seamstresses.

  2. On the day of your consultation, our seamstress will take your dress size measurements. Your size is determined by your largest measurement, if your measurements fall between two sizes (e.g. size 10 and 14), we advise you to order the larger size, since a dress can always be taken in but not let out in most cases. If you request a size other than what our seamstress has suggested, you are required to sign that you are requesting a different size. You will also be required to pay for any alterations necessary to make the dress fit.

  3. A £15 deposit will be charged for your first consultation which will be refunded or taken off your order. 

  4. We also offer an alterations service, however, this service is not included in the price of the dress. Alterations will be charged according to each alteration that is needed. (For example: If you need a hem and a bustle you will be charged separately for each and will not be charged a flat rate for alterations). 

  5. Our recommended seamstresses are fully responsible for their works carried out on garments. Regency Bride Limited does not accept any responsibility for said work.

  6. A fitting generally starts approximately six to eight weeks before the date at which the garment is required. Customers can expect to attend up to four fittings and are asked to make themselves available for all fittings when reasonably required.

  7. Regency Brides Limited or our recommended seamstress does not accept responsibility for garments not fitting when collected, due to a customer’s change in body shape and size. 

  8. It is essential that customers bring their shoes and any underwear being worn on the occasion day to their fittings.

  9. If measurements cannot be taken at the boutique by our recommended seamstress, measurements can be sent in via e-mail. Regency Brides or our recommended seamstress are not responsible for incorrect measurements taken outside of the boutique. The customer will need to pay for all garments and extra cost if alterations are required as a result of incorrect dress sizes. 

  10.  Please note fabric colours may vary due to variations of the dye lots, and may not be the exact colour that was selected from the colour swatch. For this reason, we will only place bridal party orders once all bridesmaids have been measured and deposits paid in full in order to reduce the risk of varying dye lots between dresses.

GARMENTS ORDERED

  1. Customers are required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit on the date of ordering all bridal dresses and accessories. Monies are not refundable nor are they transferable to other goods once an order has been placed. (Sale of Goods act 1979).

  2. Garments ordered that are not available from stock normally take up to 16 weeks for delivery.

  3. The price of garments excludes all costs in respect of alterations.

  4. Exact colours and shades on fabrics and designs on trim, including beading and lace, cannot always be guaranteed, as our garments are hand-made and subject to some variation.

  5. Garments are ordered to a standard size offered by the designers, which often differ from those found at the boutique. Please note that garments ordered by Regency Bride Limited are made to order and not made to measure.

  6. Customers are required to settle any outstanding balance due once an ordered garment has arrived at the boutique, and before any alterations are carried out. All garments remain the property of Regency Limited until paid for in full.

  7. After an order has been placed and signed for, Regency Bride Limited cannot and will not accept any responsibility in respect of any changes which may occur in the customer’s size and body shape.

  8. In the event of a wedding or occasion being cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the balance on ordered goods becomes payable immediately and all items must be collected. (please see our Refund Policy).

  9. Customers who cancel their sales orders are not entitled to any refund. Please be aware that once dresses or occasion wear outfits are ordered, a none cancellation from suppliers apply to Regency Bride Limited and under no circumstances can this be changed. Therefore all garments become the property of Regency Brides Limited.

 

All goods held in store, in transit to and held at our recommended seamstresses premises, are covered by Regency Bride Limited comprehensive insurance policy.

 

The Terms and Conditions outlined above do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
